Footy weather is back
Well, it is about 9c outside and I am about to jump in the car and drive down to Porties to watch the juniors…. Will be an absolute freezing day I reckon, but of course, who gives a $hit…. It’s footy season!
I am just hoping that with the rain, hail and wind that we get a competetive days football….
The highlight of the day will be the U16’s clash I think….. Hackham’s boys are playing great football and a lot of them have continued on from a great season in 2007 with the U14’s….
A grade should stay fairly tight with the Cockledivers, but I think at the end of the game the Blue ‘n White boys will be a bit stronger at the contest (which is sad to say in a footy match)
B grade should be another cracker…. If only we could get the same team together each week?!?!?! Porties have not won a game this season in the B grade and are languishing at the bottom of the ladder….. Let’s keep it that way! Head over the ball, tackle, run, tackle, run…..
U18’s and U14’s will have tough matches today….. Both teams up against much stronger opposition, but at the end of the day all we ask is 100% effort from everyone out on the field…. If we get 100% effort from all players, then improvement will come…..
GO Hawks!
